Head Shots, Waitress, Movies

Today in class acting students came to school and modeled for us in exchange for head-shots. It was a fun. Also included are some of my portraits from the restaurant employee and group portrait assignments.

I went off a bike jump today...

...it was pretty small, but i have not jumped a bike in a really long time, so it was nice. I also met a goose and some motorcycle riders

Tar Creek: a failed mission

Last week we attempted to repeat the same hike we did last year from Tar Creek all the way down the Sespe. Due to the water levels being much higher than the year before, going down the Sespe was near impossible without swimming through some class 5 rapids. Instead we found a sweet trail that took us up and down a mountain and to the trailhead at Tar Creek. It seemed a lot easier than the boulder fields that the Sespe had to offer, but it still kicked our butts!

Waves and walking

Today I had to shoot the Music For Heart family walk, organized by the Rotary Club of Agoura Hills to benefit children who suffer from congenital heart disease. Delaney, the little girl in the pink, was the inspiration for the walk. She was diagnosed as a one-week-old infant with Congenital Heart disease, which was successfully treated through open-heart surgery. Since then her Mother, Brenda, in the blue, and father have put together The Delaney Kate Honorary Heart Fund, which has combined with the rotary club into Music for Heart, which raises money to help less fortunate children who suffer from the disease.
