Notes, Balloons, and Memories

The Compassionate Friends Ventura County chapter held a special event to remember family and friends who have passed away on Saturday afternoon. Those in attendance released biodegradable balloons attached to notes they had written to their loved ones who have left this world. They released 700 balloons.

Giant Forest

Checca and I went camping in the Giant Sequoia National Park this week, where we spent a couple of days exploring the giant forest. The weather was not very cooperative, but it was extremely beautiful none the less.
